This is Orchid, probably the most popular video game "chick" up to date. I can see myself in this stance holding those weapons, but never in that costume! There's no way you'll catch me showing off my heinie. You'll never even see me wearing shorts or shirts with no sleeves. As for the facts, Orchid is a secret agent working for an unknown corporation. She entered the Killer Instinct tournament to investigate the mysterious disappearances. She ended up killing the two-headed cyclops known as Eyedol, which she probably regretted when his body released energy that sent Ultratech 2,000 years into the past. She discovered that she has a brother -- Jago! Apparently Gargos revealed it to them. But how would he know??? Gameplay Review: She's so different from KI1, you'd think that she was a totally different person with the same name. Anyway, she has the martial arts with that feminine touch. The only complaint I have is about her San move. There's a short delay between the San and the auto-double, which never fails to get me killed. It also takes a second to recover, and opponents don't even need a second to counter-attack. Also, her fatality is only short-range, which is rather dangerous. Other than that, she's a-okay! |
