What do these two women have in common? They're both named Maya. Another thing they have in common is that they both wield daggers. Here's a little comparison thingie. Maya (left): From Killer Instinct 2. She lives in Amazonia, where she rules as the queen. When Gargos returns, she sets out to destroy him. When she wins, she marries a barbarian named Tusk and lives happily ever after. Why she goes around dressed like that is anyone's guess. I'd at least add a fur coat. Gameplay Review: Actually, I can't complain about Maya at all. She can pull off one special move after another. I really don't see anything wrong with her.
Maya (right): From Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. She is from the planet Miranoi. She accidentally stumbled into a portal leading to the moon while running from Stingwingers. Leo, Kendrix, and Mike followed her back to Miranoi to save it from Scorpius. There, they obtained the Quasar Sabers and fled before Furio turned the entire planet to stone. Now Maya is the Yellow Ranger. She has a way with animals and nature. |
